The International Center for Humanitarian Affairs (ICHA) held a 10 Days training course that kicked off from 8-19 May 2017 at the Boma Hotel Nairobi. The course brought together 13 participants from International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ministry of Health (MOH), Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), International Rescue Committee (IRC) and South Sudan Red Cross Society.

Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel, donated a cheque of Ksh 176,000 towards the drought appeal kitty at the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) Headquarters on Friday 5th May 2017. They also donated assorted dry foods (13 bales of maize flour, 20 kg sugar, 12 500ml Rina cooking oil, 1 dozen table salt and 2 kg beans).
