Description

The society utilizes case management, intermittent presumptive treatment in pregnancies, vector control and timely referral as key approaches working closely with community health volunteers to increase knowledge and timely service uptake.

On TB, the organization has projects within the refugee setup that provides for cross border engagement to facilitate continuity of treatment. We have also supported the Ministry of Health with capacities including Gene Xpert machines and microscopes to facilitate timely diagnosis.

On HIV & AIDS, the society is known for the implementation of combined preventive, care and treatment programs since early 2000 and has continued across the various affected population and counties. The society is currently a principal recipient of the Global Fund HIV grant that has provided for the continued implementation at scale with various local implementing partners.
