Annette Msabeni is the Deputy Secretary General of Kenya Red Cross
Society in charge of programs. She has over 17 years'
experience in development and humanitarian work both here in Kenya and
different counties across the world. Her expertise
in programs is in HIV & health, food security & livelihoods, WASH,
gender equity, conflict transformation and peace
building, risk reduction, disaster preparedness, response & recovery.
She is multi-lingual (English, French and Spanish) and holds a Master's
in Business Administration from Strathmore
University, and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Université de Paris
IX - Nanterre, and a Bachelor of Arts in
Anthropology from the University of Nairobi.
Annette thrives on the diversity that her career presents. Experiencing
different countries and cultures, thematic
contexts, stakeholders, and legal frameworks has always been a personal
and professional highlight for her.
