Aisha Mazrui is an Adaptable chief audit executive with 20 years work experience in internal & external audit, risk management, process improvement, investigations and compliance. She is a governance, risk and controls advisor, with exceptional experience in financial and operational auditing in the humanitarian sector. She is responsible for, designing and implementing audit programs and providing advisory services to clients.

Aisha heads the Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance function at the Kenya Red Cross Society with extensive humanitarian expertise and has worked for KRCS for 13 years. She provides assurance on the organization’s risk assessments and mitigation and control systems designed and operating effectively. She leads the audit team responsible for rolling out the risk-based audit plan and strategy. She has contributed to the accountability standards at KRCS and enhanced integrity and transparency.

She holds an MBA from the University of Leicester (UK), a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a chartered accountant (ACCA fellow), Certified Information systems auditor (CISA) and CIA member.
