KRCS Parklands Branch holds A Charity Golf Tournament

Kenya Red Cross Parklands Branch held a Charity Golf Tournament at the Royal Nairobi Golf Club On Saturday 26th May 2018.

The event was part of an initiative by KRCS parklands branch to raise funds to aid in various charity work and help the branch run its day to day activities The tournament was well attended as donors turned up in good numbers for the tournament and take part in the event.

Speaking during the event deputy KRCS Secretary General, Ayaz Manji commended the branch for coming up with such iniatives as they would aid them in being independent, he further urged other branches to embrace such ideas so as to help Kenya Red Cross society to be more efficient at the branch level.

“I am glad that as a branch you are working towards being self-efficient in raising funds for the branch, we shall continue supporting our branches so us we ensure that we are more effective in giving our services to the public” Manji added

Also present was MCA for Parklands Ward, Mr. Jayendra Malde who was the guest of owner also commended the Society for its continues work in humanitarianism and said he shall work continue working with KRCS.

“Today’s tournament is a great iniative and I believe if we hold more of this in the coming days, it will help the branch to grow and become more efficient. I love what Kenya Red Cross is doing and its always an honor to be associated with it” Malde added

Michael Gathaburu, Parklands Branch coordinator, thanked everyone present for their dedication and willingness to support Kenya Red Cross through their participation in the tournament and donations towards the organization.
