Jullianne Kamau
First Deputy Governor
Before her election as First Deputy Governor, Mrs. Kamau served as the Second Deputy
Governor, and prior to that, National Treasurer of the society. She had been a long-standing
member of the Finance Committee. She also serves on the Audit and Risk committee of the
Boma Panafrican Ltd, and is a Board Member of E-plus Tanzania. Mrs. Kamau is a
Businesswoman, and has had over 15 years' experience as a Finance leader in the airline
industry. She was the Head of Finance at Qatar Airways, overseeing the Nairobi, Mombasa
and later on, Addis Ababa Branch.
In addition, she served as Chair of Eastern Africa for IATA's Air Passenger Joint Conference
(APJC), Vice Chair of the Local Council Advisory Group (LCAG), and a delegate of the
Ethiopian chapter Financial Advisory Group (FAG). She was a Director, Board of Airline
Representatives of Kenya. She also served as Chair, Board of Trustees, Qatar Airways
Provident fund scheme.
Mrs. Kamau holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi as well as a Bachelor's
degree in Economics, and a CPA (K) qualification.
